HIKING
With or without a Mountain Guide, several magnificent hikes start from close to the estate.

The most famous, known as 'l'Omu di Cagna' is a summit reaching an altitude of 1,217 m in the Cagna mountains. This hike offers magical views across the valley, the mountains, the granite rock formations and the maquis heathland.

It can be started either from the Domaine (allow 1.5 hours in addition to the round trip) or from the village of Gianuccio.

HORSE-RIDING

Discover the Southern Corsican coastline on horseback, with its famously beautiful beaches and unspoilt countryside where the maquis heathland exudes its delicious fragrance in an area steeped in heritage.

Boat trips

One of the best ways to explore the areas protected by the Coastal Protection Agency is by boat. The area includes 25 km of unspoilt coastline to the south, and 35 km to the north. Its creeks and fine sandy beaches give you the opportunity to enjoy the water away from the crowds that flock to the main beaches.

You can explore the many Genoese towers that guard this unique coastline under the watchful eye of the Lion de Roccapina.

Choose a boat trip with or without a skipper, with or without a meal on-board. Hard shell or semi-rigid boats are available, for a few hours or a full day. You'll be spoilt for choice!

There are two restaurants just a short drive from the Domaine (less than 10 mins).

There are also fabulous gourmet or traditional restaurants in Sartène and Bonifacio, as well as delicious fish restaurants right on the water's edge at the port of Tizzano. We will give you recommendations on the best places to explore.

MARKETS

Every Saturday morning, the little market in Sartène offers local produce (cooked meats, cheese, olive oil, honey etc) as well as fruit, vegetables and local hand-made delicacies. Smaller markets on tuesday and thursday.
